Highly recommended. The teaching method & lesson structure give you so much flexibility with your own learning target and goal. You can also request teaching materials to help you revisit your past lessons and lesson that you couldn't attend. No pressure on yourself with your learning journey. When I first joined Modu, I didn't expect myself to get to where I am. Mainly bec I am doing it on my spare time and as a leisure activity. After lesson 26, I realised I have exceeded my own expectation. Most important of all, after coming this far, learning Korean with Modu to me still feels like a leisure activity. It's a fun process.

Sophie is an amazing Korean teacher! I was making my best attempts learning through apps and online resources, but getting nowhere slowly. Taking live group classes took my learning journey to another level - and I realised how bizzare I would sound to a Korean using what I had learned through apps! Modu Korean is a great way to learn Korean from a teacher who understands not only language but customs and culture, which are essential and also interesting! I am still progressing slowly through laziness and general life fatigue, but luckily with Modu Korean I can choose the slower paced classes and go to extension classes where I can get live feedback on what I can work on to improve. The community is also so sweet and encouraging, and we share group chats and meet in person to celebrate BTS related events - and just to support each other and have a yarn! Learning any language is very difficult but Sophie makes it fun, and you won't sound like a total weirdo if you visit Korea as you will understand fundamentals and conversational Korean, rather than sounding like a dictionary.
